Linda “Sue” Parker, age 81, of Mount Vernon, passed away at her residence on Thursday, June 29, 2023.
She was born on October 10, 1941, in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Russell and Jeanne (Russell) Taylor.
Sue was a member of the Baptist Temple Church in Howard.
Sue is survived by her children, Rick Parker of Howard, Teri (Dean) Parker of Howard, Scott Parker of Florida; grandchildren, Sarah (Russ) Griffin, Kayla (Adam) Greim, Casey (James) Mulkey, Dayna (Ryan) Porter, Zach (Heidi) Parker, Zeb Parker, Vince (Tracie) Parker, James (Lindy) Parker, and Jacob Parker, Twelve great-grandchildren, sisters-in-laws, Carol Imboden, Sandy Thompson; brother-in-law, Darrell (Vicki) Parker; along with many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Tippy.
She was preceded in death by her husband James “Jim” Parker in 2017.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 – 5:00 PM at Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Road in Mount Vernon. Visitation will immediately follow the services until 7:00 PM. Private burial will be held in Glen Rest Cemetery in Reynoldsburg.
