MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.
JUNE 19
— Deputies were flagged down by a pedestrian during routine patrol. The pedestrian complained that an individual violated the civil protection order in effect between the two parties. Deputies spoke with the complainant and the suspect. A report was taken to send to the law directors office for review.
— A deputy was requested to take a call via telephone in regards to a fraud. Complainant stated that his employer contacted him and advised someone was trying to file unemployment in his name. The complainant’s employer requested him to notify the sheriff’s office. Nothing further at this time.
— A female came to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office lobby to speak to a deputy about a custody dispute. A Deputy spoke with the female, gave advice, and an incident report was filed.
— A deputy was dispatched to Columbus Road on a theft complaint. Dispatch advised that the complainant discovered someone had stolen fuel and batteries from vehicles at his business. The deputy responded and made contact with the complainant.
JUNE 20
— Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Lonzo Lane on a suicidal juvenile female. Juvenile called in stating that she was having suicidal thoughts and cut herself using a kitchen steak knife. EMS arrived on-scene and checked her wounds and deputies were able to convince the parent/guardian to transport the female to Children’s Hospital in Columbus without incident. A report was written for documentation.
