MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.
JUNE 8
— Deputies responded to Winesap Circle in Apple Valley to attempt to serve a warrant on a female. Upon arrival to the address on Winesap Circle, a family member allowed deputies to enter the home locate the female. The female was located and arrested then transported to the Knox County Jail.
JUNE 9
— A deputy was dispatched to Gilchrist Rd. on complaint of a disturbance. Complainant stated there was an argument and nothing physical. Nothing further at this time.
— At approximately 1:37 p.m., deputies received an identity fraud complaint on Meadow Lane, Gambier, Ohio. A report was filed for documentation.
— Caller reported her neighbor hit her car and damaged it. The neighbors confronted each other and damage was done to the front door of the other neighbor. Pictures were taken and statements were collected. A copy of this report will be sent to the City Law Director for review of charges.
— Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Yauger Road Mount Vernon on the report of a suspicious person who had entered the caller’s property and vehicle. After Deputies were given a physical description of the person the individual was found in the area. It was later discovered that the person had stolen items from the callers vehicle. The suspect was arrested for criminal trespass and theft and transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.
JUNE 10
— Deputies attempted to stop a white Ford Truck for a speed violation on Cassell Road near Beckley Road. The suspect truck fled from Deputies at a high rate of speed finally coming to a stop on Cassell Road at the Mount Vernon City Limits. The driver was arrested and booked into the Knox County Jail.
