Josephine Marcum, age 81, of Howard, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at her residence.
She was born on November 8, 1941, in Wayne County, West Virginia to the late Charley and Anna Marie (Pauley) Marcum.
Josephine “Nana” loved the Lord and lived for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She leaves her family with loving memories that will last a lifetime.
Josephine is survived by her daughters, Debora (David) Caudill, Sherri Sholl, and Teresa McKenzie; grandchildren, Zach, Joey, Chris and Stephanie; great-grandchildren, Will, Jayden, Autumn, Frankie, June, Avery, Emma, Olivia, Ava, Enzo and Izzy; sisters, Sharon Gay (Mike) Salmons, Gloria Jean Blackburn; and a son-in-law, Jerry Estep.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Marcum in 2010, daughter, Hazel Estep, granddaughter, Brandy Kirk, along with a brother and many sisters.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 10:00 – 11:00 am at Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel, 11337 Upper Gilchrist Road in Mount Vernon. Where funeral services will follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Jason Salmons officiating. Burial will be in Betzer Cemetery in Carroll, Ohio.
