MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.

APRIL 26

— On the above date, a deputy was dispatched to the location of 518 Wooster Road on the report of a male shoving around a juvenile female. Multiple officers arrived on the scene and made contact with all parties involved.

— Complainant advised that someone claiming to be a deputy called her and told her that her mother was in trouble and that she needed to pay her fines. The victim provided the money on gift cards before realizing it was a scam. A report was made for documentation.

— A deputy was contacted by phone and advised of a vandalism at 215 Meadow Lane in Gambier. A deputy responded to that location and made contact with the complainant.

APRIL 27

— Deputies were dispatched to an assisted living facility on Wooster Rd. on a disturbance. Deputies arrived on scene and assisted staff in controlling the male. Mount Vernon Fire Department arrived on scene and transported the male to KCH were he was pink-slipped. A report was generated for documentation.

— A complainant called and reported a wounded deer on Gilchrist Rd. A deputy responded and the deer was dispatched with the deputy’s agency issued handgun. A report was completed for documentation.

APRIL 28

— Deputies were dispatched to a location on Upper Gilchrist Rd in reference to a male threatening suicide. The phone was pinged and several address were checked but deputies were unable to locate. There was no cooperation from the family on his whereabouts.

— A complainant from a local gas station called and reported that a female was inside the store and was acting strangely. Deputies responded and made contact with the complainant and the subject. During interaction with law enforcement, the female exhibited signs of mental health issues. The owner of the gas station declined to trespass the female, and deputies determined that she was not a harm to herself or others. A report was completed for documentation.

— Deputies handled a report by phone reference the callers son being extorted/harassed via text messaging reference possibly sending out an inappropriate photo. A report was taken.

— A complainant came to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to report a fraud committed by a contractor. A report was taken on the complainants behalf.

— Deputies met with an elderly female at the Knox County Sheriff’s Office. She claimed she was running scared from her husband. Deputies are familiar and she has a severe mental illness. A report was taken for documentation.

APRIL 29

— The complainant reported a suspicious vehicle parked at one of his properties.

APRIL 30

— At approximately 2:17 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a possible suicide attempt in Delaware County. After further investigation, it was determined that the individual was currently in Dublin, Ohio. Departments made contact with the Dublin Police Department and advised them of the individual’s last known location in Dublin.
