MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.
APRIL 2
— The complainant called the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to report that their lawn had been turfed, mailbox damaged and 9 cherry trees had been damaged at their residence on Knox Lake Road. A report was filed to document the incident.
APRIL 3
— An individual came to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to file a fraud report. A report was completed.
— An individual contacted the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to report unauthorized charges on their credit card. A report was completed for documentation and an investigation is ongoing.
APRIL 4
— Deputies responded to Plum Street in the Village of Danville on a report of a missing child. Deputies were able to locate the child safe and unharmed at a residence of a family member. A report of the incident was taken.
