MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.

MARCH 28

— An off-duty law enforcement officer called and reported that an individual was getting into a vehicle that may have been an individual with an active warrant. The off-duty officer followed the vehicle and advised that it turned onto a roadway without using its turn signal.

Deputies were able to make a traffic stop on the vehicle and make contact with the driver and occupant in the vehicle. The driver and occupant were arrested on outstanding warrants. Drugs were located in the vehicle during a vehicle inventory and seized as evidence. The two individuals were transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.

— Deputies were dispatched to a disabled vehicle on Lower Gambier Road in Mount Vernon. Attempts were made to contact the owner, but were not successful. Since the vehicle was in the middle of the road, a wrecker was called and the vehicle was towed by Blubaugh Towing.

— Deputies were dispatched to a Bladensburg residence on a disturbance. Deputies spoke with the complainant as well as another resident. Deputies did pink-slip one of the residents and transported to KCH for evaluation.
