DANVILLE — These are the police reports from Danville, Brinkhaven and Apple Valley, courtesy of the Danville Police Department and Chief Daniel J. Weckesser.

These were the reports filed from Feb. 26 through March 6.

Feb. 26

 During the patrol of Sutton Beach, Apple Valley, an officer observed trash thrown on the ground by a parked vehicle occupied twice. Upon investigating, the officer detected a strong odor of marijuana. Upon confronting the occupants, they were determined to be impaired. A bag of marijuana was surrendered. The officer also discovered drug paraphernalia. All illegal items were confiscated. A sober driver arrived to pick up the two impaired individuals.

 Gas drive-off. The officer identified and contacted the suspect, who then returned to pay for the fuel. It was determined to be a malfunction with the pump credit card device. – S. Market St.

Feb. 27

 Assisted the Squad/EMTs – Penlawn Cir., Apple Valley

 Conducted a well-being check on a citizen – in the 1600 block of Apple Valley Drive.

 Officer observed a dog running loose and was able to catch it and determine its owner. The dog was then returned to the owner – Highland Hills Dr., Apple Valley.

 Suspicious vehicle w/persons – Hunter Rd.

Feb. 28

 Harassing phone calls – in the 200 block of Plum St.

March 1

 Assisted the Squad/EMTs – in the 400 block of Richards St.

 Conducted a well-being check of an individual – in the 800 block of S. Market St.

 Assisted the Sheriff’s Office – in the 30000 block of Biggs Rd.

 Suicide threat – East Walnut St.

March 2

 K-9 traffic detail – Apple Valley Dr./Northridge Heights Dr., Apple Valley.

 Civil issue – Lakeview Ct., Apple Valley.

March 3

 Residential alarm – Kingsway Ct., Apple Valley.

 Assisted Howard Twp. Water Dept. reference a water alarm.

 Internet crime (fraud) – in the 15000 block of Millersburg Rd.

March 4

 Assisted the Sheriff’s Office – Schenck Creek Rd.

 Assisted the Sheriff’s Office – Jelloway Rd.

 A 48 yr. old male from Columbus was issued a traffic citation for speed.

 A 19 yr. old female from Danville was issued a traffic citation for an expired license plate.

 A 35 yr. old male from Malta was issued a traffic citation for speed.

 Suspicious vehicle – in the 3000 block of Apple Valley Dr., Apple Valley.

 Disturbance – in the 100 block of East Ross St.

March 5

 Disturbance – in the 400 block of Grand Valley Dr., Apple Valley.

March 6

 Suspicious activity – Grand Ridge Dr., Apple Valley.

 911 call – Country Club Dr., Apple Valley.

 Assisted a family w/medical emergency – Shadley Valley Rd.
