MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.

FEB. 24

— A deputy dispatched an injured deer.

— Deputies took a report for quads trespassing on conservation land.

FEB. 26

— A deputy was dispatched to the Kenyon College Campus Safety Office to take possession of drug paraphernalia located at the school. The deputy seized the drug paraphernalia to be placed into evidence for destruction. A report was written for documentation.

— A deputy was dispatched to Granville Road to investigate an injured deer. Complainant stated the deer was in a ditch and needed dispatched. Deputy arrived on scene and the deer was dispatched. Nothing further at this time.

— Deputies were dispatched to a Centerburg business address on a vehicle theft. The complainant advised that sometime between 02/25/2023 and 02/26/2023, that someone had stolen it from a garage where it is normally parked. The silver 2020 Pace enclosed trailer was entered into L.E.A.D.S. as stolen, and a report was taken.

— Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Columbus Road in reference to a disturbance.

FEB. 27

— While on routine patrol deputies encountered two vehicles entering a building on private property during the early morning. Contact was made with the individuals and it was determined that their presence there was appropriate. Some additional follow up was made and the contact documented in a report.
