Robert P. Sieving, age 61, of Bellville, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville, Ohio. He was born on July 20, 1961, in Toledo, Ohio, the son of Robert F. and Barbara (Welly) Sieving. Bob was a 1979 graduate of Clear Fork High School, a 1981 graduate of The Ohio State University ATI and a 2002 graduate of DeVry University.
He was currently working for Hitachi Astemo Manufacturing in Sunbury where he had been employed for the last 30 years. Bob was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was an avid collector of model trains. In his free time, he enjoyed farming, searching for trains with his father and uncles, and spending time with his daughter.
Bob is survived by his daughter Kaylee Sieving of Mount Vernon, his father, three brothers, David (Barbie) Sieving of Butler, Mark (Joy) Sieving of Bellville and Daniel (Emily) Sieving of Lucas, a sister, Beth (Jeff) Kern of Norwalk and the mother of his daughter, Teresa Sieving.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
The family will host a memorial service at a later date at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 189 Mansfield Ave., Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050 and will be announced. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Robert P. Sieving.
