MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.

FEB. 1

— Deputies were dispatched to a residence in Matinsburg, on a violation of a protection order. The complainant advised that her ex-boyfriend came to the the complainant’s home and refused to leave. It later was discovered there was not a protection order in place. Deputies were unable to make contact with the other party.

— A victim/complainant called to report that his 9mm handgun was stolen or missing. A report was completed for documentation.

— A complainant advised some person(s) had broke into her residence and stole items. A report was taken on the complainant’s behalf.

— A complainant advised someone had opened a credit card by using her personal information without her consent. A report was made on the complainant’s behalf.

FEB. 2

— A deputy spoke with a complainant over the phone regarding a theft. Complainant stated someone had taken his bank information and used it to purchase items on amazon. A report was taken and the complainant is contacting his bank.

FEB. 3

— A victim/complainant called to report that her ex-boyfriend trespassed at her residence. A deputy responded and made contact with the victim/complainant. She wrote a statement and a report was completed to be sent to the City Law Director for review.

— Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Toms Road in reference to an inactive burglary. The complainant stated that there was a large sum of cash stolen. A report was filed to document the incident.

— A complainant advised he was missing two dealer plates and was uncertain if they had been stolen. A report was made on the complainant’s behalf and the license plates were entered into L.E.A.D.S. as stolen/missing.

— Deputies were dispatched to Harcourt Road near Old Delaware Road in reference to a large fire. Deputies requested assistance from the city of Mount Vernon Police and Fire Department. Deputies conducted an investigation while on scene. The incident remains under investigation.
