MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.

JAN. 16

— A deputy was dispatched to Old Delaware Rd. to investigate a disabled vehicle. The vehicle in question was a trailer and was towed due to it being in an unsafe location.

— Deputies responded to a domestic violence call on Zolman Rd. Complainant stated her and her daughter got into an altercation leaving her with scratches on her face. Statements were collected of the incident and will be sent down for further review.

— A Deputy was dispatched to the Comfort Inn on Howard Street in Mount Vernon in reference to a theft that occurred in Howard. The Deputy spoke with complainant and a report was filed.

JAN. 18

— A deputy was dispatched to the intersection of Nashville Rd. and Heaton Rd. on an injured deer. The deputy arrived on scene and dispatched the injured deer with their Office issued firearm.

— Deputies were dispatched to a Howard, Ohio area residence on a disturbance. The complainant a third party caller from Licking County said that his brother was yelling and making physical threats toward his wife. Upon the deputies arrival they knocked on the front door. A female yelled from inside and said come in through the garage and hurry. Once inside deputies witnessed that the female had the male in a bear hug from behind. Deputies ask the female to leave the room, and deputies spoke with the male individual. The male ultimately agreed to go to the the hospital for a mental evaluation. Deputies transported the individual to Knox Community Hospital where he was pink slipped.

— A complainant advised two residents had money stolen from their rooms. The suspect(s) are unknown and a report was made for documentation.
