MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.
JAN. 5
— A complainant reported that her ex-husband had violated a protection order issued on Nov. 24 at a family members residence. A report was made on the complainant’s behalf and will be forwarded to the Knox County Prosecutor’s Office for review of potential charges.
— A deputy was dispatched to a single vehicle crash on Knox Lake Road. Statements were gathered and a crash report was written.
JAN. 6
— A deputy from the Knox County Sheriffs Office responded to the incident location on a report of a disabled / crashed vehicle in the ditch. The vehicle was located and was stuck, damaged and abandoned. The vehicle was towed by Ellistons Towing to their location for safekeeping. A report was started and an investigation is pending.
— A deputy was dispatched to Wall St. to investigate a complaint of threats to the complainant. After speaking with the complainant the deputy took a report. Evidence was collected of the threats. Nothing Further at this time.
— Deputies were advised that there was a male at the hospital with a felony warrant. Deputies went to the hospital and arrested the male without incident, and transported him to the jail.
— The complainant called the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to report that their employer received a letter advising that they had filed for unemployment when, in fact they had not. At the employers advice the complainant requested a report filed to document the incident.
— The complainant called the Sheriff’s Office to report a trespassing incident that occurred the previous day.
