MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.
JAN. 1
— A complainant advised some person(s) had shot his residence on Coshocton Road. A report was taken on the complainant’s behalf for documentation.
— Deputies responded to a Domestic Violence incident on Martinsburg Road. The male half was arrested and charged with Felony Domestic Violence. The suspect was transported to the Knox County Jail where he is being held without a bond.
— Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Murrary Road Mount Vernon OH, 43050 on the report of a domestic violence incident. After Deputies spoke with the victim and the suspect, the suspect was placed under arrest for domestic violence and transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.
DEC. 31
— Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Northern Spy Drive in Howard on a possible domestic violence incident. Complainant called 911 stating that a physical incident between a adult male and juvenile male had occurred and needed deputies to respond to the residence. Information was gathered and copies of the report will be sent to Juvenile Probation and the City Law Directors Office for review of charges.
— Deputies were called on a report of a man dressed in all black and walking west bound on Coshocton Road in the area of Monroe Mills. The individual was located and drug related items were seized for destruction. A report to document the incident was taken.
— Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Coshocton Road for a welfare check. After deputies arrived on scene and spoke with the individual they learned that the person was in a mental health crisis and transported them to Knox Community Hospital for a mental health evaluation.
— The complainant advised he caused harm to himself. He was checked by squad personal and I transported him to Knox Community Hospital without incident.
DEC. 30
— Deputies made contact with a suspicious vehicle in the 900 block of Coshocton Ave. Upon contact, deputies discovered that the registration of the vehicle was expired for an extended period of time. The driver of said vehicle was released without issue, and the vehicle was then impounded by Howard St Garage due to the expired registration.
