MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.
DEC. 19
— Deputies responded to a call of an intoxicated driver in a field with a vehicle at an unknown location. Deputies located the individual on a private property on Divelbiss Road and charged them with alcohol related charges, impounded the vehicle and made contact with the property owner regarding the incident.
— At 11:30 p.m. a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for driving on S. Main St. without its headlights on. The driver was suspended and the vehicle had fictitious license plates on the vehicle. During the inventory of the vehicle, three illegal firearms were located. The firearms were seized and placed into evidence and the vehicle was impounded. The driver was arrested then transported to the Knox County Jail.
DEC. 18
— A deputy was dispatched to the Kenyon College Campus Safety Office on possible found drug paraphernalia. The deputy collected the paraphernalia to be placed into evidence for destruction and a report was written.
— Deputies responded to a drug over dose at an address on Lower Green Valley road. Deputies collected statements and medics transported an individual to the hospital. There was a report filed to document the incident.
