MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.
DEC. 6
— At approximately 6:43 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a resident on North Liberty Rd in Butler, Ohio, 44822, in reference to a suicidal female. Deputies spoke with the female and transported her to the Knox Community Hospital.
— Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Newark Rd. on a disturbance over custody rights. A deputy arrived on scene and spoke with the parties involved. Advice was given and a report was generated per the complainant’s request for documentation.
DEC. 7
— A deputy spoke with a complainant concerning a possible protection order violation. The deputy collected evidence and completed a report for documentation.
— At 6:05 pm, a compliant arrived at the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to report blackmail that had taken place on Instagram. Deputies spoke with the complainant and filed a report that will be sent for investigation.
— Deputies responded to a vandalism complainant. Deputies arrived at the complainants address on Highland Hills Road. Deputies collected a statement form and pictures. The complainant was advised that a report has been filed to document the incident.
— On the above date, I was dispatched to the location on Wooster Road on a well-fare check. The concern for the check was due to excessive alcohol consumption and making mention of wanting to die. Sgt. Devolld and I responded and made contact with the individual that needed checked on.
DEC. 8
— The defendant was observed traveling at a speed that appeared to be greater than the posted speed limit. The defendants speed was checked by radar, tones and tracking and found to be over the posted speed limit. The defendant was stopped and was determined to be under the influence of alcohol. The defendant was arrested and taken to the Knox County Jail without incident.
