MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.
NOV. 16
— Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance on Newark Rd. Utica, Ohio 43080. Deputies interviewed both parties and separated them for the night. The complainant filled out a statement form on their behalf. The incident was documented and will be forwarded to a prosecutor to review.
— The complainant’s mailbox post was destroyed. She requested a report as this is the second time this year it has occurred.
— The complainant reported that her business was scammed out of money. A report was taken.
NOV. 17
— A deputy was dispatched to the area of Wooster Road near Pealer Mill Road on a possible vehicle crash involving a deer. Contact was made with the vehicle driver and a report was written.
— Deputies responded to a crash on Nunda Road. A single vehicle went off the roadway and through a fence before coming to rest over an embankment. No report of injuries being sustained.
— Deputies responded to a single car crash involving a deer. A report was filled for documentation.
— Deputies were dispatched to Millersburg Rd. on a deer car crash. Complainant stated while driving a deer jumped in front of her vehicle causing her to strike the deer. A report was requested for insurance purposes.
— Deputies arrived at a residence on Vanatta Rd. in Centerburg Ohio and made an arrest on a male for an outstanding warrant. The male was transported to the Knox County Jail and released into the custody of jail staff.
— The complainant was westbound on Lock Road when a deer ran onto the roadway and into his vehicle, causing damage.
