MOUNT VERNON — These reports were filed by Knox County Sheriff’s deputies from their various shifts on Saturday, Nov. 5.

NOV. 5

— Deputies responded to a call regarding a deer that was struck by a vehicle. Deputies arrived at the call location on Monroe Mills road. The deer was dispatched and a report was filed to document the incident.

— A complainant called to report that his daughter took a significant number of her prescription medications. EMS staged nearby until Law Enforcement could render the scene safe. Law enforcement and EMS responded to the location and made contact with all parties. The female was transported to KCH via ambulance and mandated by law enforcement to stay at the hospital for a mental health evaluation.

— Deputies responded to a call regarding a vehicle that hit a deer. Deputies arrived at the location on Coshocton road and a deer slip was issued.

— Deputies were dispatched to Fredericktown-Amity Rd. on a welfare check. Complainant wanted to have his daughter checked on. Deputies were able to make contact with the daughter.

— The complainant called the Sheriff’s Office to report that person(s) unknown are trespassing onto his property.

— The complainant advised of a fight between his twin sons.

— A complainant called and reported her daughter had been assaulted by her boyfriend and he left into the woods carrying a handgun. Deputies responded and both the boyfriend and girlfriend were transported to Knox Community Hospital for a mental health evaluation. This report will also be forwarded to the City Law Director’s Office for review of potential charges.
