MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s Deputies filed the following reports.
Sept. 15
On Sept. 15, a complainant requested a welfare check on a suicidal male. Deputies responded and made contact with the male. The male was transported to the hospital for a mandatory mental health evaluation. At the hospital, the male was arrested for disorderly conduct in a medical facility and transported to the Knox County Jail without further incident.
Sept. 19
On Monday, Sept. 19 deputies responded to a business on Columbus Road on a possible structure fire. The Mount Vernon Fire Department were dispatched and tended to the fire. Contact was made with the Property/Manager of the business and a report was written for documentation purposes.
On Sept. 19 the complainant called the Knox County Sheriff’s Office to report that they had caught someone on their property on video while they were at work trespassing and stealing their cat.
