Beverly J. Baldwin, age 79, of Mount Vernon passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
She was born on July 29, 1943, in Chesterville, Ohio to the late Charles and Mary Jane (Kemmer) Satterfield. Beverly lived for over 20 years in Bradenton, Florida where she worked at the town of Longboat Key as the Fiscal Officer. She enjoyed the beach, watching birds, casinos, reading and cook outs. But most of all, Beverly loved the time she spent with her family and close friends.
She is survived by her son Jim (Michele) Baldwin; five grandchildren, Kristen (Alec) Curry, Kane (Maria Villa) Baldwin, Kimberly Baldwin, Ashleigh Baldwin, Braden (Allison) Custer; and her great grandchildren, Xavier Baldwin and Scarlett Custer.
In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her sons Ronald Baldwin Jr, Joseph Baldwin; and her brother Bobby Satterfield.
Friends may call on Friday, August 19, 2022, from 12 – 1pm at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home. A service will follow, beginning at 1pm, with Pastor Marvin Haught officiating. Burial will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery in Chesterville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Knox County Animal Shelter.
