Harold “Butch” Ross of Westerville, Ohio formerly of Centerburg, Ohio passed away on May 6, 2022. Butch was born in Centerburg on September 9, 1941 to the late Proctor and Grace Ross. He graduated from Centerburg High School in 1959 and the Ohio State University, Department of Food Science and Technology, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1968.
Butch is survived by his wife of 55 years, Vicki, sons William (Nichole) of Dublin, James (Dora) of Galena and four grandchildren, Quinn, Ellis, Tatum and Matthew, as well as brother Ed (Judy) Ross, of Columbus, sisters Annie (Mike) Parham of Oldsmar, Florida, and Gert (Dan) Hines of Fredericktown, Ohio.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents Grace and Proctor, brothers Charles Ross, Eugene Ross, and Lloyd Ross.
After graduating from OSU, he took a job with UpJohn Drug Company and moved to Cincinnati, Ohio in 1968. He was there for several years before returning to Westerville, where he started his own construction company, Safeway Construction, which later became Thermcor. He manufactured and installed panels and built room additions. He continued in this business until his retirement.
No funeral arrangements have been made at this time.
