CENTERBURG — A 26-year-old Centerburg man was killed on Saturday morning following a one-vehicle crash in Porter Township, according to the Delaware Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Christopher C. Thomas was pronounced dead at the scene after a crash occurred at approximately 7:14 a.m., on Condit Road near Olive Green Road, in Porter Township, the Patrol stated.

According to the report, Thomas was operating a 2020 Dodge Ram pick-up truck northbound on Condit Road when he traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a mailbox post, a culvert and overturned several times. Thomas was not wearing his safety belt.

The crash remains under investigation.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by Delaware EMS, Porter Kingston Fire/EMS, Delaware County Sheriff’s Office.
