Crash Reports

Mar. 2

  • David C. Morrison was traveling north on Granville Rd. and Chadwick J. Conroy was traveling south on Granville Rd. near Railroad St. Morrison stated he crossed the double yellow line and struck Conroy. Morrison was cited for failure to drive in a marked/continuous lane.

Mar. 3

  • Mataya Alictia Mories was stationary at a red traffic light facing west on Coshocton Ave. and Wal-Mart Access Road. Jordan M. J. Collins was in motion driving west on Coshocton Ave. behind 2. 1 continued to close in distance to Mories and did not slow down. Collins stated he attempted to slow down but his brakes did not work. Collins swerved left of Mories sideswiping the vehicle. Collins was cited with failure to control/weaving course.

Mar. 2

  • An officer responded to KCH in reference to a male causing a disturbance in the emergency room parking lot. A report was taken.
  • An officer received a request by the Code Enforcement Officer to remove an inoperable motor vehicle. The deputy responded to the vehicle’s location and had the vehicle towed.
  • An officer was dispatched to Foundation Park for a safe that was located on the lake ice. The item was recovered. There is nothing further to report.

Mar. 3

  • An officer was dispatched to Baker’s IGA on S. Main St. for a theft.
  • Units were dispatched to Follin Ave. for a neighbor disturbance.

Mar. 4

  • A female who lived on Howard St. reported her garage was broken into sometime during the past week. There are no suspects at this time.
  • An officer responded to the Grand Hotel on Public Sq. for a fraud complaint. A report was filed for this alleged incident. The investigation has been forwarded to the MVPD Detective Division for further investigation.

Mar. 5

  • Two officers were dispatched to W. High St. for an active burglary.
  • Officers responded to N. Main St. in reference to a suspicious person. When officers arrived they found a male suspect inside a parked car that did not belong to him. The male was issued a summons for vehicular trespass and released.
  • An officer was dispatched to Memorial Park in reference to a theft. There is nothing further to report.

  • Units were dispatched to the 900 block of W., High St. for an assault. A report was taken and a statement was collected.
