MOUNT VERNON — There were 13 defendants found guilty after trials, hearings and arraignments were conducted this week in Mount Vernon Municipal court.

The Mount Vernon Law Director’s Office brought these cases forward.

FEB. 2

Chase Boyd, 19, of Mount Vernon was found guilty of Driving Under Suspension. The Court sentenced him to pay a $100 fine.

Assistant Director of Law, Brittany Whitney, represented the City of Mount Vernon in the Boyd case.

FEB. 1

Max Bricker, 29, of Bladensburg, was found guilty of Driving without a Valid License. The Court sentenced him to pay a $200 fine.

Mindi Myers, 52, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Amplified Music being heard from her vehicle beyond 50 feet. The Court sentenced her to pay a $10 fine.

Derek Cox, 18, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Driving without a Valid License. The Court sentenced him to pay a $200 fine.

Drew Daniels, 42, of Croton, was found guilty of Passing Bad Checks. The Court sentenced him to pay $262.72 in Restitution and gave him credit for jail time served.

Miranda Wintz, 40, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments. The Court sentenced her to pay Court costs and gave her credit for jail time served.

Chad Tish, 40, of Lakeville, was found guilty of Resisting Arrest. The Court sentenced him to serve three days in jail.

Denny Dilldine, 47, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of two counts of Petty Theft. The Court sentenced him to serve 180 days in jail, with 150 days suspended, and placed him on two years of probation with the following conditions: complete a drug and alcohol assessment as soon as is practicable and complete 30 hours of community service.

Rick Meador, 60, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Failing to Confine his Dog. The Court sentenced him to pay a $50 fine, serve 30 days in jail, with all time suspended, and placed him on one year of probation.

Paul Logan, 37, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Driving Under an FRA Suspension and Driving Under Suspension. The Court sentenced him to pay a $250 fine for each charge.

Director of Law, Rob Broeren, represented the City of Mount Vernon in the Bricker, Myers, and Cox cases. Assistant Director of Law, Brittany Whitney, represented the City of Mount Vernon and the State of Ohio in the remaining cases.

JAN. 31

Jason Reddick, 43, of Howard, was found guilty of Telecommunications Harassment. The Court sentenced him to pay a $200 fine, serve 180 days in jail, with all times suspended, and placed him on two years of probation.

Justin Shaw, 34, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Operating a Vehicle While Under the Influence. The Court sentenced him to pay a $1,000 fine, serve 365 days in jail, with 305 days suspended, placed him on three years of community control, and suspended his operator’s license for three years.

Timothy McDonnell, 25, of Centerburg, was found guilty of Operating a Vehicle While Under the Influence and Left of Center. The Court sentenced him to pay a $500 fine, serve 180 days in jail, with 177 days suspended, and placed him on one year of community control with the following condition: attend and complete a 72-hour driver intervention program for the OVI charge. He was sentenced to pay a $50 fine for the Left of Center charge.
