ASHLAND — Ashland, Richland, Knox and surrounding counties in north central, northeast and northwest Ohio are under a hazardous weather outlook and wind advisory until Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service in Cleveland.

NWS predicts wind speeds could reach up to 50 mph in some areas.

“Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” NWS said in its wind advisory.

Tuesday’s high is forecasted to slump down to 30 degrees, with a high of 39 on Wednesday. Temperatures are expected to hang around in the 20s on Thursday and Friday, as the region could receive a dusting of snow, NWS predicts.

The precipitation could turn to a mix of rain and snow on Saturday night, when the temperatures are expected to be 30 degrees.
