Crash Reports
Dec. 16
- John Chidester was turning north from Kroger Fuel into the Kroger parking lot. Amy Sue Stover was traveling north into the Kroger parking lot from Verndale Dr. Chidester cut off Stover causing passenger side damage to Chidester’s vehicle and front driver side damage to Stover’s vehicle No injuries were reported.
- Mark Alan Muston was traveling south on Newark Rd and changed lanes causing him to strike William Hastin Sherer who was also traveling south on Newark Rd. Muston was cited for changing lanes without safety
- An unknown driver was traveling east on the access road behind Kroger. Derek Allen Thompson was traveling north on Vernonview Dr. The unknown driver made a left-hand turn out of the access road onto Vernonview Dr. and struck Thompson in the rear driver side of the vehicle.
- Levi D. Erow was turning south out of 120 Newark Rd. Erow failed to yield and struck Richard L. Ressler who was traveling south on Newark Rd. Erow was cited for failure to yield.
Dec. 17
- Angela R. Boeshart was traveling north on Martinsburg Rd. She left the right side of the roadway and struck a speed limit sign. Boeshart was cited for failure to control/weaving.
- Tera S. Kuhel-Schaade was traveling east on Coshocton Ave. Peyja McCord and Taylor L. Lowe were stopped eastbound on Coshocton Ave, Kuhel-Schaade failed to stop striking McCord in the rear end. The impact forced McCord into the rear end of Lowe. Kuhel-Schaade was cited for failure to maintain assured distance ahead.
- Randy Oswalt and Halie A. Hartman were traveling west on Coshocton Ave. Hartman stopped/slowed for traffic and was struck in the rear by Oswalt. Oswalt was cited for failure to maintain assured distance ahead.

Dec. 15
- An officer responded to People’s Bank in reference to a fraud call. There is nothing further to report at this time.
- Officers responded to the area of 600 N. Gay St. in reference to a stolen package. The caller was a neighbor who witnesses the incident. The caller stated the suspect was a younger male. Units were unable to locate the male at this time.
- At approximately 8:55 PM an officer responded to a theft complaint on Shirley Ave.
Dec. 16
- Units responded to S. Division St. for a disturbance. There is nothing further to report at this time.
- Units responded to S. Division St. for an outstanding warrant for failure to report; incurred new violent offense for a known individual.
- An officer received an email in reference to a female who wanted to report a fraud. There is nothing further to report at this time.
Dec. 17
- At approximately 10:11 PM an officer was dispatched to Harcourt Rd. for a reported burglary. A report was taken and the incident is under further investigation.
Dec. 18
- An officer handled a call by telephone in reference to criminal at an E. Pleasant St. address. A report will be sent to the prosecutor when it is completed.
Dec. 19
- An officer was dispatched to Howard St, in reference to a vandalism incident. When the officer arrived he spoke with the complainant who said her vehicle had been vandalized. A report was taken.
