Paint Outside takes place every Tuesday from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Plein Air Painters are invited to the BFEC to paint outdoors every Tuesday this summer. These are informal gatherings with no instruction. Bring your own supplies and meet other like-minded painters. Restrooms available in the Resource Center. Please practice social distancing and wear a mask when you cannot maintain a distance of 6 feet. These opportunities will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather. Meet at the picnic shelter.

Breath. Use your lunch break on Tuesdays and Thursdays to de-stress with an outdoor yoga class. Open to all ages. Please bring your own mat. We will practice social distancing. Free! The Kokosing River Exploration will take place on Saturday, Aug. 14 from 2 to 4 p.m. Join the experts from Ohio Department of Natural Resources to learn about macroinvertebrates (little critters) that live in the river. These critters can tell us a lot about how clean our river is. Wear shoes that can get wet. Free. No registration required. Meet at the canoe access parking lot on Laymon Road.

The History of Ohio Animals program will take place on Aug. 19 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Adults are invited to spend an evening at the BFEC learning about Ohio animals. Space is limited. To register, email Noelle Jordan at jordan2@kenyon.edu. This is an indoor program; masks are required.
