MOUNT VERNON — Knox Public Health will offer several vaccine clinics this week including one May 18 specifically for those age 12-15.
The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, now available for youth ages 12 to 15, will be offered Tuesday, May 18 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Knox Public Health, 11660 Upper Gilchrist Rd.
Youngsters must have a consent form signed by a parent or guardian and be accompanied by an adult. Both walk-in and scheduled appointments will be available for this special clinic.
Prior to Tuesday’s clinic specifically for youth, KPH will offer COVID-19 vaccines from 1 to 4 p.m. for anyone age 12 and older.

Wednesday, May 19 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Mount Vernon Energy Field House.
Wednesday, May 19 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Danville Memorial Park.
*Thursday, May 20 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Main Place, 117 W. High St.
Thursday, May 20 from 4 to 6 p.m., Fiesta Mexicana Parking Lot, 308 West High St.
Friday, May 21 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Knox Public Health, 11660 Upper Gilchrist Road.
*Saturday, May 22 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Mount Vernon Farmers’ Market, Public Square.
All clinics scheduled this week will feature the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine and the two-dose Pfizer vaccine. The Johnson & Johnson vaccine is for anyone age 18 and older; the Pfizer vaccine is for anyone age 12 and older.
Both walk-in and scheduled appointments are available at all clinics. There are no residency requirements.
