MANSFIELD – Culligan Quality Water of North Central Ohio, located in Mansfield, was recently awarded a “Top Dealer Award” for being one of the top 25 dealers in medium markets in all of North America for 2020.
The Culligan Of North Central Ohio franchise serves the Ohio counties of Richland, Knox, Ashland, Morrow, Crawford and portions of southern Huron County.

Karger, who owns the business with his wife Traci, said they also owed a debt of gratitude to every Culligan Man and Woman in the dealership.
“Without their professionalism, dedication and resilience, during a pandemic no less, achieving this level of excellence would not be possible,” Karger said.
The water business runs in the family as Karger is a second generation Culligan Man. His father, Donald Karger, was a Culligan Man for 50 years, and Karger’s brother, Jason, is also a Culligan Man in Wooster. Because the family’s roots are here in North Central Ohio, it has always been important to Karger to deliver the highest quality service.
“Last year, there was a Google review that really stuck with me,” Karger said. “It said, ‘The people that work at Culligan of North Central Ohio genuinely care about the satisfaction of their customers.’
“For us, it might be changing a light bulb or something crazy like that for a customer, but that’s what great service is all about. If you don’t have great service, a great product will only get you so far.”
Indeed, that customer service reaped rewards. The business experienced incredible growth, despite COVID-19, during the entirety of 2020 that allowed Karger to reinvest in the community, creating more jobs as the calendar turned over to 2021.
In fact, in August 2020 Culligan had a record breaking month with 109 new installations.
