Fredericktown FFA member, Maribeth Pozderac, Earns the American FFA Degree
FREDERICKTOWN — Recently at the first ever virtual National FFA Convention, Maribeth Pozderac from the Fredericktown FFA was among over 3,500 that were recognized for receiving their American FFA Degrees.
Maribeth worked very hard and invested a lot of time to get this honor. She had to have earned their State FFA Degree. Completed at least 3 years of an agricultural education program. Graduated from high school at least 12 months prior to the convention. The member had to have at least 50 hours of community service, and productively earn 10,000 and reinvest 7,500 into their Supervised Agricultural Experience program.
They must have maintained a scholastic record of at least a “C” or better. And complete a written application that goes thru an intense evaluation process on the local, district, state, and national levels.
Each year only about 3,500 people get their American Degree in the entire United States so we are very proud to have two of those from right here in Fredericktown. Fredericktown FFA Advisor is Debra Burden.
Maribeth is currently a student at Columbus State University where she is majoring in Dental Hygiene. Maribeth Pozderac is the daughter of Milan and Kim Pozderac of Mount Vernon.
Fredericktown FFA member, Haley Rook earns her American FFA Degree

Haley is a recent passed her Firefighter 2 Ohio certification and just passed her EMT basic certificate a few weeks ago. The Firefighter 2 is the highest Ohio certification as a firefighter. Haley is the daughter of Aaron and Terri Rook of Fredericktown.
