Conditioning showed as the Indians outscored the Pirates 15-14 in the final period.

The third quarter gave the Indians a 37-36 lead over the Pirates.

Mt. Gilead fought to a 27-22 intermission margin at Cardington-Lincoln’s expense.

The start wasn’t the problem for the Pirates, who began with a 13-12 edge over the Indians through the end of the first quarter.
