KNOX COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
July 19
- Dispatch advised there was an abandoned vehicle sitting in the middle of Killduff Rd. neat Ohio 229. The doors wer reported open and no one was around. The deputy located the vehicle which had its doors shut, its windows open and no keys in the ignition. The deputy yelled to see if anyone was in the area. There was no answer. The deputy went to the registered owner’s house but no one was there. The vehicle was towed.
- A deputy was dispatched to Tiger Valley Rd. in Danville. The complainant reported someone had “shot out” the rear window of his vehicle. A report was made for documentation. There are no suspects.
July 20
- The complainant stated he had ordered a 12,000 watt generator from the internet and received a package in the mail on this date. The package did not contain the generator but a child’s puzzle. The complainant wanted to file a report.
- A deputy was traveling north on Old Mansfield Rd. when he observed a vehicle turn onto Old Mansfield Rd. from Knox Lake Rd. In doing so he traveling left of center. The officer made a traffic stop in the vehicle. Dispatch ran a check on the vehicle’s license plate and found the owner had suspended driving privileges. The driver, Fred Scoles, was cited for driving under suspension.
- Officers went to a Colony Dr. residence to work an active warrant. Officers made contact with Adam Foor who was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Morrow County. He was transported to the county line and turned over to the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office. Amber Wolf was also located at the Colony Dr. residence and she was arrested for an active warrant. She was transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.
- The complainant advised someone had egged her house during the early morning of July 20. She said it was the fourth time it had happened this year and wanted to file a report. The suspect is unknown.
- Deputies were dispatched to Martinsburg Rd. The complainant said her son was intoxicated and very combative. Deputies arrived and placed the son, Tyler Austin Fleming under arrest for disorderly conduct with persisting while intoxicated. He also received a summons for underage consumption.
July 21
- A vehicle was stopped on Banning Rd. for an equipment violation. The driver, Alexander Marti was underage and had been consuming alcohol. He failed a field sobriety test and was arrested for OVI. He was also cited for the equipment violation and then transported to the Knox County Jail.
July 22
- Katie L. Bailey was traveling east on Koppert Rd. when she left the right side of the roadway. Bailey struck two mailboxes, a telephone pedestal and a tree. Her vehicle came to rest against the tree in a driveway on Koppert Rd. The vehicle sustained disabling damage to the front end and both airbags were deployed. Bailey was transported to the hospital for treatment. She was cited for failure to control.
