MOUNT VERNON – Beginning Monday, July 15, SR 229 will be closed to traffic at the following locations for multiple culvert replacements between SR 308 and US 62:
• Mon. July 15 – Wed. July 17: Closed between Big Run Road and Grove Church Road (will open morning of July 17)
• Wed. July 17 – Fri. July 19: Closed between Killduff Road and Horn Road (will open morning of July 19)
Detour: SR 308 NB to US 36 EB to US 62 WB and reverse
SR 13
On Monday, July 15, pavement repairs will begin on SR 13 between Utica and Mt. Vernon with 2-lane resurfacing to follow once pavement repairs are complete.
Traffic will be maintained with flaggers
Estimated project completion: October 15, 2019
