It wasn’t exactly Lewis & Clark in uncharted territory, but Gulf Breeze had to survive its share of thorns while shedding Gainesville Buchholz 17-13 for a Florida boys lacrosse victory on April 25.
Gulf Breeze fought to a 11-7 intermission margin at Gainesville Buchholz’s expense.
The two squads was set up for a frantic finish when the final quarter began with a 17-13 tie.
Both teams was scoreless in the first and third quarters.
