Brendan Scott Gibas, age 21, of Mount Vernon passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019 at the Licking Memorial Hospital in Newark.
He was born on January 9, 1998 in Mount Vernon to Jay Scott Gibas and Erin (McNulty) Gibas. Brendan was a graduate of the Knox County Career Center. He was employed as an Apprentice Electrician for Rominoff Electric and served in the Army National Guard.
He is survived by his parents and his sister Brianna Lynn Gibas. Brendan was preceded in death by his grandfather Dennis McNulty; and his grandmother Janie Christine (Dunkan) McNulty. In keeping with Brendan’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. The family will observe a private memorial.
