MANSFIELD — Mayor Tim Theaker has announced that the City of Mansfield has free compost available.

Compost will be distributed by appointment only starting April 8. Appointments and questions can be directed to the City Service Complex at 419-755-9803. Appointments may be scheduled for 7:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., or 3 p.m.

Anyone interested in compost must stop into the Complex Office located at 480 Park Avenue East to get a load ticket. Any questions should be directed to the Service Complex during regular hours Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Compost will be limited to one truck load per day for residents of the city.
