ELYRIA – The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Ivan Brooks.
Brooks is wanted by the United States Marshals Service and the Elyria Police Department for homicide.
Brooks is wanted for allegedly shooting and killing Terrence Taylor, 45 at a residence near the 800 block of W. Broad Street, Elyria. It is alleged that the shooting happened after a verbal altercation between Brooks and Taylor.
Brooks, 34, is a black male, standing approximately 5 feet 8 inches and weighing 170 pounds. Brooks’ last-known address is the 3300 block of Lexington Ave, Lorain. Brooks is also known to frequent the area of Eastlawn St, Lorain. Brooks is to be considered armed and dangerous.
