KNOX COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Mar. 1
- The complainant advised a deer had been hit and injured on Vincent Rd. at Coshocton Rd. The deer was located and dispatched. It was moved off the road and a report was made.
- Bryant Graves was located and arrested on a probationary warrant. He was transported to Municipal Probation at the request of his probation officer.
- Officers located and arrested Kristopher Herron on multiple outstanding warrants. He was transported to the Knox County Jail where he was released to the jail staff.
- The KCSO received reports of an impaired driver traveling north on Columbus Rd. the vehicle was stopped on Harcourt and the driver contacted. The subject had some medical issues and was transported to Knox Community Hospital. The subject’s vehicle was towed.
Mar. 2
- An officer was dispatched to Progress Dr. in Danville on a report of a break in at a business located there. The complainant said several items including money had been stolen. Photographs were taken and a statement collected. There are no suspects at this time.
- An officer was dispatched to Eckard Rd. to investigate a report of a firearm along the side of the road. The firearm was located and run through dispatch.
- An officer was dispatched to Martinsburg Rd. on a complaint a deer had been injured. The complainant showed the officer where the deer was and it was dispatched.
- An officer was dispatched to the Kenyon College Safety Office on West Scott Ln. in Gambier. They advised they had found several items of marijuana paraphernalia. The items were collected by the officer and placed into evidence to be destroyed.
- Deputies were dispatched to Range Line Rd. for a burglary. The complainant said he arrived home to find his rear door forced open. He said he did not find anything missing. A report was made and the complainant was told to contact the KCSO if he discovered anything missing.
Mar. 3
- The KCSO received a complainant about a vehicle parked on New Guilford Rd. in Bladensburg with a man sleeping inside of it. A deputy arrived on the scene and arrested Ethan Scott for OVI after he failed field sobriety tests. Scott was transported to the Knox County Jail and his vehicle impounded.
- An officer was dispatched to New Guilford Rd. in Bladensburg. The manager of a business reported a vehicle which had been parked on the business’ parking lot since March 1. The vehicle was inventoried and towed.
- A female was cited for criminal trespass for entering a restricted ares at the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.
- Julia Greenich was southbound on N. College Dr. in Gambier when she started to slide on the icy road. She braked and Ryan A, Wise, who was also southbound and behind her, was unable to stop in time and struck the rear of her vehicle. Both then slid off the roadway and Wise struck the guard rail. Wise was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
