KNOX COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Feb. 7
- A vehicle owned by Kendra D. Wolford was parked in a parking lot off College Park St. in Gambier when it was struck by an unknown vehicle. The unknown vehicle then fled the scene.
Feb. 8
- Sharon A. Scott was traveling south on Howard-Danville Rd. when she crossed the center line. Scott ran off the road and struck a telephone pole guide wire, breaking it. The pole was the property of Century Link. Scott was cited for failure to control.
- The complainant called dispatch to report the back window of their home had been broken into and someone had gone through the whole house. The complainant noticed that only a five gallon jug of fuel and a chainsaw were missing from the garage.
- Jace A. O’Neil was traveling southwest on Tuma Rd. from Newark Rd. and lost control of the vehicle while traveling on a straight stretch of the road. He struck a utility pole at 17357 Tuma Rd causing it to break and land on the roof of the vehicle.
Feb. 9
- Deputies responded to Salem Ave. in Fredericktown and made contact with the suspect Andruw B. Carl. Carl was arrested on an outstanding warrant and transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.
Feb. 10
- Aria Hoeflich was traveling west on Danville-Amity Rd. when she lost control of vehicle causing her to leave the roadway and crash through some trees. Hoeflich was issued a citation for failure to control.
- The complainant advised he had hired some people to help him build a cabin and they left before it was finished. Afterward, he noticed some of his tools were missing. The complainant said he does not know the men’s names or where they are from.
