  • It was determined John Capoccia had violated a civil protection order issued out of the Knox County Common Pleas Court. Capoccia violated the order by contacting his wife via text message. He admitted to deputies he had texted his wife earlier in the day. Capoccia has two previous convictions for violating a protection order and was arrested by deputies. Capoccia resisted arrest while being taken into custody.
  • The complainant called the KCSO to report a firearm was possibly stolen from his vehicle. A report was written and the serial number was entered into NCIC/LEADS.
  • The KCSO was notified about found drug paraphernalia in Gambier. A glass marijuana pipe was found on the playground of the Wiggin Street Elementary School. The pipe was turned over to the KCSO and placed into evidence for destruction.
