May 12
- An officer spoke to the complainant at her residence in Centerburg The complainant wanted to report some items had been taken from her garage.
- The complainant called the KCSO to report a theft. He said a couple of items had been taken from an out building on the property where he used to live on Updike Rd. in Centerburg. He said he had the permission of the current owner to store items there.
May 13
- The complainant told the KCSO that someone had stolen items from a car parked near 101 E. Main St. in Danville. A report was made to document the incident.
- Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Upper Fredericktown Rd. in Mount Vernon on a report of a possible domestic violence incident. The victim/complainant had called the KCSO to report she had been physically by her husband during an argument. She said his assault had caused minor visible injuries to her arms and head. Deputies placed Michael James Edward Dimitriou under arrest. He was transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.
- Drug paraphernalia was found by Campus Safety at Kenyon College in Gambier. The paraphernalia was collected and placed into evidence to be destroyed later.
- The complainant called to report a vehicle had pulled into the grassy center of the cul-de-sac at her residence. The vehicle then parked there with the lights off. Deputies arrived and made contact with the driver, who was still in the vehicle. They conducted field sobriety tests and arrested Shanda Kuhn for OVI.
