Sue Balcom of Budget Blinds in Apple Valley

HOWARD — Residents of Howard, Apple Valley, Danville and all of eastern Knox County have likely seen the vans, signs, and now this article about Budget Blinds. Owner, Elizabeth Hock says “Let’s get to know each other!”

Elwyn & Elizabeth Hock owned a Budget Blinds franchise in North Canton for 15 years where 72 percent of their business was from referrals and repeat customers.

In 2016 they decided to relocate to Apple Valley to be near their youngest daughter and family. Who can resist more time with the youngest of 15 grandchildren? In January of this year, they sold the North Canton business to another grandson – so they are in Knox County to stay.

“We are blessed to have wonderful employees to help us manage the business. Darryl comes to your home or business with creative ideas and samples to help you envision the end result. When your custom products arrive, Darryl also installs and makes sure everything is functioning properly,” said Elizabeth.

Noelle and Sue manage the showroom at 21735 Plank Rd (behind the Subway at Apple Valley) from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. Monday thru Saturday. Customers can drop by to see and touch many ideas for your windows.

Budget Blinds also offers bedding, area rugs and more

In addition to blinds/shades, Budget Blinds offers custom draperies, Plantation shutters, custom bedding, area rugs, retractable screen doors, Roman shades and solar shades.

“You made this so easy” are the words, Elizabeth says, we love to hear as we leave your home. Not only have we helped you solve your window treatment issues, but we’ve made a new friend.
