Crash Reports

April 18

  • James K. Stone was traveling westbound on Coshocton Ave. and did not stop for a red light striking Arlen P. Alexander who was making a left hand turn onto Coshocton Ave. from private property. Stone was cited for a red light violation.
  • Simon M. Boucher was backing onto Wooster Rd. and struck Tiffany L. Donnelly who was stopped in traffic waiting on a red light. Boucher was cited for starting and backing vehicles.

Incident Reports

April 18

  • An officer was on patrol on Coshocton Ave when he was waved down by a business’ Loss Prevention Employee. The officer stopped and made contact with him. He had stopped an individual, identified as Gregory L. Hyatt for shoplifting. Hyatt was found to be in possession of stolen merchandise from the store and admitted to taking that merchandise. He was placed under arrest and transported to the Knox County Jail. There he was found to be in possession of contraband. A report will be made to the Knox County Prosecutor in reference to that.
  • Two officers responded to a Follin Ave. residence in reference to a disturbance. When they arrived they heard a female yell, “Stop.” as they approached the apartment door. They also heard a male yell in an aggressive manner and heard items being broken. When the officers opened the door they observed Donald Morris, Jr. punching the stairwell wall. Morris was told to stop and he was escorted outside. The female stated there were two children under three years old in the residence. The female said Morris did not own or reside in the apartment and that she feared Morris would harm her. They both stated they had had two children together and had resided together in the past. Morris was charged with domestic violence, menacing and criminal damaging or endangering.

  • Rickie Rhea, 22, W. Chester St. was arrested and charged with theft.
  • Joseph Pilotti, 39, N. Sandusky St. was arrested and charged with theft.
  • Randi Yacono, 30, Fredericktown, was arrested and charged with theft.

April 18

  • Gregory Hyatt, 34, E. Curtis St. was arrested and charged with theft.
  • Jared Doyle, 43, Cardington, arrest on outstanding warrant.
  • James Stone, 38, Howard, was cited for a red light violation.
  • Michael Depew, 62, Wooster Rd. was cited for speeding.
  • Keely Dykes, 20, Newark, was cited for a stop sign violation.
  • William Smith, 28, Breiningsville PA, was cited for speeding.
  • Gary Parshall, 60, Sycamore Rd. was cited for a stop sign violation.
  • Tina May, 56, Verndale Dr. was cited for a stop sign violation.
  • Lori Phillips. 49, Ames St. was cited for speeding.
  • Donald Morris, 26, Upper Gilchrist Rd. was arrested and charged with domestic violence, menacing, and criminal damaging or endangerment.
