April 13

  • The complainant reported he had been the victim of a scam that said he was the winner of some sort of lottery. The terms were that he was supposed to cash a check that was sent to him and then send the money back to the requested address. The check was not good when he attempted to cash it.
  • The complainant advised that sometime while she was gone from her residence, an unknown person forced entry into her home and barn causing damage to both doors. The complainant said she noticed only a few items missing. A report was made to document the incident and an investigation has been opened.

April 14

  • A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle in Centerburg for a speeding violation. It was also discovered that the driver, Sarah McGlone, had an outstanding warrant for her arrest. She was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail.

April 15

  • Detectives with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on a Columbus Rd. residence. After making entry into the home it was discovered that Kylie Thomas was one of several people found in the residence. Thomas had a warrant for her arrest out of Marion County. She was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail.
  • Rodney Eugene Williamson II was arrested on an outstanding warrant from the Knox County Common Pleas Court. Williamson was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.
