KNOX COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
April 9
- An officer responded to a Martinsburg Rd. address on a report of a burglary. When he arrived at the scene he spoke with the complainant who advised him of the situation. She said she had been working in her workshop when she heard a thump outside. When she went out later she discovered several statues were missing. The complainant said she just wanted the incident documented.
- The complainant advised an unknown individual had opened two credit card accounts in his wife’s name and had made several purchases with them. The complainant provided copies of the bills and a statement. A report was made and an investigation opened.
April 10
- A deputy made a traffic stop near the Village of Centerburg on Columbus Rd. The driver, Michael L. Johnson, was arrested for OVI and drugs were found in the vehicle.
