Crash Reports
April 6
- Three vehicles were traveling eastbound on E. Chestnut Street. Chad J Valley was in front of Cheryl L. Gamble and Gamble was in front of Ann M. Tope When Valley stopped for traffic,Tope struck Gamble who was pushed up into the rear of Valley. Tope was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
April 8
- Anthony E. Glancy was stopped for a red light on Coshocton Ave, and was struck in the rear by Thomas Ryan Kelley. Kelley was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Incident Reports
April 6
- An officer was on patrol in the area of W. Gambier St. and S. Main St. when he observed a vehicle being operated by a male subject. The officer verified with dispatch that the male subject was suspended. The officer initiated a traffic stop and gave the male subject citations for driving under suspension, drug abuse and possession of marijuana. The male subject was released and his probation officer was notified.
- At approximately 10:50 A.M. An officer responded to a Mansfield Ave. address on a report of a suspicious male wearing a black hoodie and Carhart bibs. Upon arrival, the male was located and arrested for an outstanding warrant.
- At approximately 4:38 P.M. An officer was dispatched to a Coshocton Ave. business on a report of shoplifting. When the officer arrived the female suspect was identified and issued a summons for petty theft. A statement was completed and a report taken.
April 7
- An officer responded to a Franklin Ave. address in reference to a vehicle with a 4-hour-wait. The officer spoke with the owner of the residence who indicated the vehicle was parked behind her building. A towing service was contacted and the vehicle was towed to the Mount Vernon City Impound Lot.
- An officer spoke with the complainant in re3ference to a burglary at a North Gay St address. The complainant stated several tools were taken from the residence ut he had no serial number for them. A written statement was taken and a report made.
- A complainant reported that his step son’s residence in the 600 block of N. Gay St. was broken into. He advised that several items were taken from the garage and from the step son’s vehicle.

April 4
- Dominic Snell, 27, Buckeye Lake,was charged with assault.

- Bryan Pruitt, 27, Fredericktown,was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
- Jimmy Folden, 52, N. Division St. was arrested and charged with theft.

- Travis Hutchinson, 34,S. Catherine St. was cited for no operator’s license.
- Steven Cole, 38, N. Mulberry St. was arrested on an arrest warrant.
- Ann Tope, 33, McGibney Rd. was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
- Benjamin Harvey, 27, W. High St. was charged with drug abuse and possessing drug abuse instruments and was also cited for driving under suspension/revocation.
- Oakley Hall, 29, Shelley Dr. was cited for not having an operator/chauffeur license.

- Richard Dailey,40,Howard,was cited for driving under suspension/revocation.
- Toby Holt, 35, Sychar Rd was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
- Abraham Desich, 35, Centerburg, was cited for driving under FRA suspension.
April 8
- Richard Dodd, 31, N. Main St. was cited for driving under suspension/revocation.
- Charles Beeman, 36, Upper Gilchrist Rd. was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
- Andrew Francis, 21, Danville, was cited for fictitious plates.
- Ryan Kdelley, 16, Fredericktown, was cited for assured clear distance ahead.
- Ronald Thomas, 55, Columbus, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
- Lachressa Blakesley, 21, Pearl Ave. was cited for driving under FRA suspension.
