Mar. 9
- Anthony Mosbarger was traveling westbound on Coshocton Ave. and began turning right onto Vernonview Dr. Larry Wolfe was stopped on Vernonview Dr. waiting to make a left hand turn onto Coshocton Ave. Mosbarger hit Wolfe while making his turn. Mosbarger was cited for failure to control.
Mar. 10
- Kelley Jean Ashcraft was stopped northbound on S. Mechanic St. at W. Vine St. and Thomas Hubbell was traveling westbound on W. Vine St. Ashcraft failed to yield the right-of-way to Hubbell and was struck by Hubbell. Ashcraft was cited for a stop sign violation.
- Richard Wink was stopped eastbound in a Coshocton Ave. parking lot exit. Bonnie Chapman was traveling northbound on Vernonview Dr. Wink started to make an improper left hand turn from the parking lot and failed to see Chapman, causing Chapman to strike Wink. Wink was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way.
- Connor H. O’Brien and a vehicle owned by James Leibee were parked in a Coshocton Ave. parking lot opposite each other. O’Brien backed up and struck the front of Liebee’s unoccupied vehicle.
Incident Reports
Mar. 9
- An officer was dispatched to a Howard St. business on a report of a suspicious person. The officer made contact with the male and determined he was having mental health issues. The male was pink slipped to Knox Community Hospital for treatment.
- An officer responded to W. Burgess St. on a parking complaint. The vehicle was issued a third parking ticket at that time. He vehicle was subsequently impounded and secured at the city impound lot. No keys were available at the time of impounding. An administrative inventory was completed. Towing and storage fees will apply.
- At 11:26 A.M. An officer responded to an E. Vine St. address on a vandalism complaint. Unknown persons threw feces on the back of the residence. A report was made and photographs taken. This investigation is active and will be updated as it progresses.
- An officer responded to a Newark Rd. business on a shoplifting complaint. Written statements and a copy of the surveillance video were obtained. The suspect is unknown at this time. This investigation is closed and will be re-opened if the suspect is identified and/or any leads developed.
Mar. 10
- Several officers responded to W. Ohio St. business on a report of a male on the outside porch with a low pulse. The male was transported to Knox Community Hospital to be medically cleared. He was then arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to the Knox County Jail.
- The MVPD was contacted concerning threats being made by a resident on Mansfield Ave. When officers arrived on the scene, the individual came out of the house voluntarily and requested help. He admitted to having thoughts and making statements of threats towards himself and other family members. He was pink slipped due to his threats to himself and others. He was transported to KCH where the ER staff informed police officers they were comfortable with the individual who was cooperative. They said they would call the MVPD if needed.
- Officers responded to a Shirley Ave. address on a reported disturbance. The complainant stated that a known male was at the apartment banging on the door and throwing items. He was said to have a knife. The male was eventually locate in a vehicle on Shirley Ave. The male was disorderly and intoxicated. He was arrested for disorderly conduct with persisting while intoxicated.
Mar. 11
- At about 2:50 P.M. Officers responded to a Plaza Dr. residence on a disturbance complaint. The suspect was transported to Knox Community Hospital for a mental health assessment. No charges were filed and this investigation hs been closed.
- At 8:16 A.M. An officer was dispatched to a Coshocton Ave. business on a report of shoplifting. The business Loss Prevention employee said that Dylan Murphy opened and concealed merchandise from the store. He said he then witnessed Murphy leave the store without paying for the items. Murphy was placed under arrest for petty theft.

- Brian Creech, 27, Johnstown Rd. was cited for driving under FRA suspension.
- Robin Plichta, 25, Shalimar Dr. was cited for allowing an unlicensed driver to drive.
- Anthony Mosbarger, 40, McGibney Rd. was cited for failure to control/weaving.

- Jeremy Hayes, 29, N. Mulberry St. was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct with persisting.
- Richard Wink, 83, Deshler, OH, was cited for failure to yield when driving onto a roadway.

- Lucas Stagg, 35, E. Ohio Ave. was cited for driving under suspension/revocation.
- Tylena Lewis, 24, W. Curtis St. was arrested on an outstanding warrant and was also charged with resisting arrest.
- Patrick Banks, 29, Catherine St. was arrested for drug paraphernalia offenses. He was also cited for driving under suspension/revocation.
- David Grubbs, 31, Columbus Rd. was cited for driving under suspension/revocation and driving the wrong way on a one way street.
- Brittany Chaney, 20, Warsaw, was cited for expired or unlawful license plates.
- Kyle Williams, 22, S. Park St. was cited for driving under FRA suspension.
- Crystal Stewart, 34, Crystal Ave. was cited for driving under suspension/revocation.
- Dylan Murphy, 25, N, Sandusky St. was arrested and charged with theft.
