Feb. 26

  • Complainant advised she was away from Feb. 21 to Feb. 26,2018. When she returned she noticed freezer meat and miscellaneous items had been taken. She noted a door leading from a common room (laundry room) had been pried open and would no longer lock. She is unsure who stole the items.

Feb. 27

  • A deputy arrived at the incident location and spoke with the complainant, who advised someone had entered two of his buildings and removed numerous items. The complainant said the theft occurred between 5:00 P.M., Feb. 26 and 8:30 A.M. Feb. 27, 2018. The deputy observed tire tracks and shoe prints around the building and the locations where the items were stolen. Photographs were taken and a local recycling business was alerted that the stolen batteries might be turned in. A report was written to document the incident.
  • Larry K. Elliott, while pulling out of a parking space, struck Jennifer M. Snyder.
  • Curtis Dean Looney, Jr. was located and arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Knox County Court of Common Pleas. A search incident to the arrest yielded a substance suspected to be methamphetamine. The incident remains under investigation.
