MOUNT VERNON, Ohio – Vickie Sant, president of First-Knox National Bank, announced the promotion of James S. Meyer to vice president, mortgage and consumer lending.

Meyer joined First-Knox in 1999 as a management associate. He previously managed the Centerburg Office and Main Office prior to moving into a primary mortgage and consumer lending role.

“Jim’s lending skills are second to none,” said Vickie A. Sant, president of First-Knox National Bank. “He has spent the better part of his career honing those skills and he is very adept at assessing a customer’s situation, identifying financing options, and providing guidance on what will benefit the customer’s overall financial picture.”

Jim is a graduate of Mount Vernon High School, and the University of Cincinnati. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing. Jim is a graduate of the Knox County Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Knox program. He is a member of the Mount Vernon Parking Company and the

Shade Tree Commission, treasurer for the Committee to Support Our Local Schools, and serves as a youth basketball and softball coach.
