KNOX COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
- Jan. 31 – David Matthew Harris, the complainant said his step-father shoved him during an argument. It was determined Harris had a capias (arrest) warrant and he knowingly attempted to prevent the execution of the warrant. Harris was apprehended and taken to the Knox County Jail and charged with obstruction of official business.
- Jan. 31 – An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that matched the description of one leaving the scene of a disturbance on Coshocton Rd. When deputies attempted to initiate the stop the driver, Ashton Tate Cody, failed to stop and when he did stop he failed to listen to the deputies’ commands. Cody was arrested and taken to the Knox County Jail, having been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
- Jan. 31 – Kurt Byers was traveling northbound on County Road 16 (Chapel Road) when a deer ran into the highway and into the right side of Byers’ vehicle.
